    1. The first attempted landing on the surface of a comet is a huge landmark in the history of space exploration that will not only uncover further details about comets but could unlock further clues about the origins of our solar system and the development of life on Earth.

They will study the comet’s internal structure using radio waves and will also drill into its surface to learn about its chemistry, for example its water and carbon content.

      4.5 billion year old comet.
310 million miles away from Earth.
The robot that landed is 220 lbs and the size of a washer machine.
Comet is 2.5 miles in diameter.

    1. Haley: I don't agree with her decision to end her life, but I do understand why she did it. She would have gone through a lot of pain and suffering if she would have tried to battle the disease. The reason I don't agree with it is because I think she gave up too quickly. She donated her organs and died surrounded by her family. She was comforted until the end and that's the most important thing.
Alyssa: I totally agree with what she had done. If I was in the same position that she was I wouldn't want to put myself, nor my family through that kind of torture. Like she said, she wasn't suicidal, but she wanted to die on her terms and I can't do nothing but respect that. A lot of people find that when their loved one is sick and pass away, that they remember that as suffering and forget what they were like when they were healthy. She wanted them to remember her as healthy, and not drag on the terrible accident that was happening. I respect her for it, and I think that the church's should step aside and let people live their lives the way that they want to.
Myria: With Brittany taking her own life in hospice is her own choice. She could of simply just committed suicide. If i was in her state I would want to be able to leave the earth peacefully rather then either in a comma because her body was still in fine shape. With her other organs being find she wanted to donate them, possibly if she did the treatment she wouldn't of been able to keep other people alive for many years rather then just herself for another month. If she did end up donating her organs then she should be thought through out the public to be a hero, rather then everyone thinking what she did with her own life to be wrong. I respect her for what she did. She left her family with a memory of her of what she was rather then what she could of turned into with the treatment. Non of us have to agree with what she did because it was her life. As long as her family understands then what she did was her own choice.

    1. A huge tomb was unearthed after having dug past huge decapitated sphinxes, broken through a wall guarded by two caryatids and having emptied out an antechamber decorated with stunning mosaics, where a body of a suspected important person of the Alexandrian time period((356-323 BC) has been found. It is thought to be Roxana, Alexander's Persian wife, his mother Olympias, or one of his generals, athough it is not thought to be Alexander himself, as he is thought to be buried somewhere in the city he founded of Alexandria.

  8. Landing On A Comet
A robot probe, the size of a washing machine, was dropped from the Rosetta satellite on Wednesday and spent seven hours travelling down to the icy body on comet 67P. The probe is still not anchored, and is sitting with the weight of the lander somehow on the comet. The probe landed 1km away from its target destination. The probe set off from Rosetta with 60-plus hours of battery life, and will need at some point to recharge using its solar panels. The robot is receiving only one-and-a-half hours of sunlight during every 12-hour rotation of the comet. The probe travelled 6.4 billion km (four billion miles) to reach the comet. The journey took 10 years and was planned 25 years ago. Comet 67P is more than four billion years old, has a mass of 10 billion tonnes, is hurtling through space at 18km/s (40,000mph), and is shaped like a rubber duck.

  9. People wait all year for Black Friday. Black Friday is a day all stores have great deals and lower prices, from electronics to clothes. So what's their holiday must-have this time around? Best Buy is selling a 50-inch high-def TV for $199, they tell ABC. Reportedly there are two women that are already camping out in front of Best Buy in California, three weeks early. The point of black Friday is to get the sales, because not everybody is on a fixed income and they don't have that kind of money to splurge.

    1. Camping for Black Friday to be at the front of the line is almost an american stereotype at this point, hopefully these women and the Best Buy have taken into account that stampedes are also becoming pretty stereotypical.

Known as 'Double Eleven' because it's on November eleven this day is believed to have originated on chinese college campuses in 1993 but didn't become a major shopping day until 2009. And now in 2014 it was the biggest online shopping day to date, breaking online shopping records records. Last year's black friday and cyber monday sales combined weren't even close to to Alibaba's Single's Day.
